As the production process goes along, I’m going to drop updates here. This will be a more centralized location for everything related to the Birth of Flowers Horror Anthology. You can expect to find cinematic stills, blog posts, and other project updates directly from myself, Brandon Hadnot, the series creator. Many of you have mentioned to me that you love how I’ve kept you involved with every step of the process of independent filmmaking. So, I’ll do the best I can to be transparent about the journey here in hopes to inspire someone who is thinking of taking the first step towards putting their story on a screen for everyone to see.

A DEMONSTRATION OF HORROR

We haven’t reached full funding for the entire anthology yet. However, where we’re at currently on our GoFundMe campaign is more than enough to tell at least one short story to hold our supporters over until everything else falls in line. Look at this as a bonus episode of Birth of Flowers as a basic demonstration of my direction and screenwriting. I’m excited that things are moving steadily for production thus far. We’re looking to wrap sometime in late October 2022, with a release being ready by November 2022 if post production goes well. Hopefully this small premiere will be the catalyst for fully funding our series after people see what we’re capable of pulling off with very little. We know we’ve taken a while to get the ball rolling, but we ultimately didn’t want to rush. We’re super grateful for your patience, and we hope you enjoy the story!
