It’s official: Production has begun
lights, camera, action. We’re rolling for Birth of Flowers.
Yep.
I could’ve waited until we had 100% funding on our GoFundMe Campaign, which could’ve taken forever and a day, or never even happened; I could’ve hopelessly shaken my virtual coin jar in hopes that people would stop pretending to not see me promoting my vision; I could’ve listened to my cruelest inner doubts and given it all up, letting one of my most passionate ideas die with me someday in unrealized dreams. Instead, I decided it was time to show you all a small demonstration of what I’m capable of with the little things. Perhaps that’s what some of you are waiting for? You see me posting and talking about what I want to do in the filmmaking world, but you feel as if I haven’t produced enough fruit from my labor to have earned your help, yes? So, here I am, using what my supporters have so generously offered so far, along with my own resources immediately available to me. I’ll show you what I can do. I’m going to outdo every previous project I’ve ever made in one swift stroke of creativity with this short horror film as a Birth of Flowers Horror Anthology demo.
BRanches – a horror demonstration
Logline: Nightly terrors fall on Angela and her daughter after a recently bought household item causes a horrifying infestation.
Runtime: 15min
The exciting news? We’re already 60% done with shooting it, and a trailer is coming soon.
Check out some of the stills from the first few minutes of the short.
